Manifest has been a preferred vendor for this large Financial Services client since 1996.
This technologically diverse environment includes Mainframe, Midrange and Client Server hardware
platforms. We provided expertise and skilled consultants whose abilities range from COBOL and
MicroFocus COBOL programmers to Unix and NT administrators and developers including C++, Java,
J2EE, WebLogic, and Oracle. The level of expertise ranged from Programmer to Architect.
We also provided certified resources with experience using the following software packages: Leverage,
Siebel, PeopleSoft, FileNet, Remedy, MicroStrategy, Oracle Financials and Project Workbench. Along
with software development experts we provided Project Managers, Business Analysts and Technical
Writers. In one strategic use of IT Professional Services, we provided a Project Manager to mentor
two junior employees in order to assess and develop their Project Management skills. This safe
yet effective learning environment helped to teach the required skills and duties of a
Project Manager and provided a safety net and sounding board with a seasoned professional.
The projects were not negatively affected in any way and the students remain in management roles.
This client is the international expansion division of a national Financial Services company.
Manifest provided technical resources to develop, enhance and maintain systems currently implemented
in countries throughout Europe and South America. We provided various skills including Oracle, Java,
EJB, System Architects, Configuration Management, Project Management, Business Analysis and specialty
software skills such as Siebel, Amarta, Ingenium and Star Track.
This long-term client provides internal support for projects ranging from new development to
enhancements with Lotus Notes, Java and Flash for enterprise wide initiatives. Manifest has provided
Project Managers and Developers for these projects. Additionally, Manifest provided Help Desk
support at all levels (Tier 1,2 and 3) including Network Administrators.
Our client’s end customer call center had very limited reporting functionality and data to track
incoming calls and response time. In addition, the call center did not have the capability to map
typical resolutions for their customers to efficiently address their needs. Manifest provided resources
skilled in architecting, creating and implementing SQL Databases from scratch to help address these needs.
An SQL expert developed the database to capture this data and a Business Analyst was provided to define
client needs, gather information and document the project. As a result of this effort, Senior Management
is able to make better-informed decisions, the call center representatives are more efficient and
training new representatives is easier through documented, repeatable procedures.
Manifest provided this client Business Analysis and Project Management to assist in making life
insurance products available to their end clients over the web. The team interviewed senior management
and reviewed existing systems and process documentation as the initial phase of the project. Phase II
involved documenting and annotating work flow processes. The team provided recommendations to senior
management for utilizing new technologies to interface with current legacy systems.
Network Security, Support, Administration, PC Tech's, Help Desk
This organization moved physical locations from a large downtown facility to a suburban center. Manifest
provided IT professional services and project management support for application development, network
administration and technical infrastructure support. The infrastructure support included moving equipment,
set-up, diagnostics, hardware configurations, software installation, network connectivity, end-user support
and help desk.

Insurance

Manifest has been a preferred vendor since 1996. We have provided mainframe-programming expertise in COBOL,
CICS and DB2. The level of experience varied from Programmer to Analyst to Technical Lead. The functions
ranged from new development to maintenance and testing. Manifest also provided Project Manager and
Business Analyst resources to consult on software development supporting the Property and Casualty piece
of the business.
Network Security, Support, Administration, PC Tech's, Help Desk
Manifest provided this Fortune 500 client Architects, Network Security experts and Developers to design,
develop and implement the Internet architecture, firewall, intranet and security process. The team
also evaluated, recommended and helped install the hardware needed to support this effort. The
firewall installed was evaluated by an independent agency and at implementation ranked 3rd in the
country for efficiency.
Manifest was re-engaged by this client to assist them in taking their E-commerce strategy to the
next level. We have been, and are currently providing support for security, email, encryption, credit
card processing and Unix administration in the client’s effort to support their internal business areas
involved in international and E-commerce markets. We have also been assisting in updating and
enhancing our client’s firewall and other internal network security measures.
The infrastructure support Manifest provided this client included moving equipment, set-up, diagnostics,
hardware configurations, software installation, network connectivity, full system integration,
debugging, end-user support and Help Desk.

This client conducts an annual evaluation of their vendor community. Performance metrics include:
responsiveness, volume, number of interviews, vendor cooperation and compliance and end client
satisfaction. Manifest has consistently received excellent ratings in these categories. IT
professionals provided over the years have run the entire gamut from Object Oriented developers
to mainframe experts, Business Analysts and Project Managers. Specific skills include PeopleSoft,
Remedy, Microsoft Project, COBOL, C, Oracle, Delphi, Visual Basic, Java and Network Support.

This organization merged with another utility company located in the Midwest. Applications and
infrastructure were analyzed and integrated where possible. Manifest provided IT professional services,
project management, training and web development on Energy Delivery and Power Generation applications
and technical infrastructure support. Manifest staffed and managed a project deploying new systems
to 3 locations in multiple states. Services included moving equipment, set-up, diagnostics, hardware
configurations, software installation, network connectivity, end-user support and help desk.

Manufacturing

Manifest provided a team of 12 resources to assist a large international client’s massive
conversion effort. We have continued to provide mainframe expertise for development and support.
We successfully cross trained some Cobol resources that possessed specific and pertinent business
knowledge to Visual Basic in an effort to help with a large-scale development project that lacked
resources. These resources have become the Visual Basic experts for the whole team.

Manifest was brought in to provide a MicroFocus COBOL/Net Express consultant. Our resource
possessed over twenty years of industry experience and was instrumental in the development and
roll out a corporate wide software system to all of our client’s retail stores. As a result of
this engagement we have become a preferred vendor to this client and Full Cost Disclosure is now
a standard.
Manifest provided technical assistance with a proprietary Access and Visual Basic application.
We brought in a resource with the necessary technical and analytical skills to blend in with
the team. As a result of their technical expertise and acquired business knowledge, the
consultant became the primary resource upper management relied on to provide process reporting
tools, scheduling capabilities and HR information. Based on this success, Manifest has become
this client’s primary resource for all consulting.
Network Security, Support, Administration, PC Tech's, Help Desk
Manifest was initially brought in to provide resources to set up and manage this client’s
internal networks. This turned into a long-term engagement where the client retained our
services to act as their virtual IT department. Manifest provided project management, fixed
deliverable and IT professional services services on enterprise wide initiatives. The projects
included full network design and implementation, moving hardware from one facility to another,
set-up, diagnostics, hardware configurations, software installation, network connectivity,
end-user training, end-user support and help desk.
For our client, a distributor of biological products for the dairy industry, Manifest provided
project management and fixed deliverable services including full network design and
implementation. This fixed deliverable project included working with senior management to
design the physical layout of the network, running network cable, configuring hardware, set-up,
diagnostics, software installation, network connectivity, end-user training, end-user support and help desk.

all participating State employees. The technologies used are Texas Instrument’s Cool:Gen product, Sybase,
